The short version
Your health data never leaves your phone. DoseCurve has no account system, no cloud sync, and no servers that receive your entries. Everything you log — injections, weigh-ins, symptoms, nutrition — is stored locally on your device.
We collect nothing about you. No analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no location, no contact access, no advertising ID. The only third parties involved are Google Play and RevenueCat, and only if you choose to buy a Pro subscription — they process the payment, not your health data.
Deleting the app deletes everything. Because there is no other copy, uninstalling DoseCurve erases all of your data.
01Plain-language summary
This section is a convenience summary; the sections below are the authoritative policy.
- DoseCurve stores all entries — injections, doses, injection sites, weigh-ins, weight history, symptoms, nutrition logs, and app preferences — only on your device.
- We operate no accounts, no sign-up, and no cloud service for app data.
- We do not use analytics SDKs, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or trackers of any kind.
- Purchases of DoseCurve Pro are processed by Google Play, with RevenueCat verifying the subscription. No health data is shared with either.
- PDF reports and milestone posters are generated on your device and shared only through your phone's share sheet, to recipients you choose.
02About this policy
This privacy policy describes how DoseCurve ("the app", operated by the DoseCurve team, "we", "us") handles information when you use the DoseCurve mobile application on Android. It covers the app itself and the DoseCurve Pro subscription.
It does not cover services operated by others that you may reach from the app — such as Google Play, your device's operating system, or whatever apps you share exported PDFs or posters with. Those are governed by their own privacy policies.
03What we don't collect
It's easier to list what never happens than to enumerate categories:
- No account or identity data — the app never asks for your name, email address, phone number, or a password, and never generates a marketing profile about you.
- No analytics or telemetry — we don't measure what screens you open, what features you use, or where the app crashes.
- No advertising — the app contains no ads and no ad SDKs, and we do not read advertising identifiers.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access — the app requests none of these.
- No selling or sharing of data — we don't have data to sell, and we never will.
- No health data in transit — your entries are never uploaded anywhere by us.
04Data stored on your device
DoseCurve stores the information you enter, locally, in the app's private storage on your device:

This storage lives inside the app's sandbox, which Android keeps separate from other apps. We cannot read it, and neither can other apps on your phone.
05Third-party services
DoseCurve relies on third parties in exactly two situations, both tied to buying Pro:
Google Play (operated by Google LLC)
If you purchase a subscription, Google processes your payment and stores your payment method and transaction history. Google's handling of that information is described in Google's Privacy Policy and Google Play Terms of Service. We never see your payment details.
RevenueCat (operated by RevenueCat, Inc.)
DoseCurve uses RevenueCat to verify subscription status and keep Pro working across reinstalls and devices. For this purpose, RevenueCat receives technical identifiers — such as a randomized app user ID, purchase tokens from Google Play, and coarse signals like platform and storefront country — so the subscription can be matched to your app installation. RevenueCat receives none of your health data — no injections, no weights, no symptoms. Details are in RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Outside of these billing services, no third party receives any information from DoseCurve.
06App permissions
DoseCurve requests one permission: billing (com.android.vending.BILLING), used only for Google Play purchases of Pro.
- Home-screen widgets read your locally stored data and render it on your home screen — entirely on your device.
- Sharing uses your operating system's share sheet when you choose to export or share a file. No share happens without your action.
07Data security
Because your data lives only on your device, its security is the security of your device: we recommend keeping your phone updated, using a screen lock, and using your operating system's built-in encryption, which protects the app's storage along with everything else on the phone.
Your operating system may back up app data to a cloud service you control — for example, Android's device backup to your own Google account. If so, that backup follows your device's settings and your Google account's privacy settings, not ours. We have no access to those backups and cannot restore them.
08Retention & deletion
Your entries remain in the app's local storage for as long as the app is installed.
- To delete everything: uninstall DoseCurve. Since no copy exists anywhere else, uninstalling permanently erases all of your data.
- To reset in place: you can clear your data from within the app's settings.
- Billing records: transaction records for a Pro subscription are retained by Google and RevenueCat under their own retention policies and are outside our control.
09Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because DoseCurve never transmits your personal or health data to us:
- Access, portability, correction, and erasure of your app data are exercised directly on your device — the data is in your hands, and uninstalling deletes it.
- We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, because we don't collect or disclose it in the first place.
- Billing-related requests (receipts, subscription data) can be made to Google via your Play account, or to us (see §12) and we will forward or assist where we can.

10Children
DoseCurve is a health-tracking tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions with a higher digital age of consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — as noted above, we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
11Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how your information is handled, we will also note it in the app. The current version is always available at this address.
